We Dig Durban!

During the past weekend, Durban was invaded by bikes of all shapes and sizes as over 3000 cyclists took part in the aQuelle Tour Durban Cycle Race presented by Spur. The long weekend was kicked off on Friday morning where the 45km and 20km MTB races were held at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping and took riders meandering through the surrounding sugar cane plantations. On Sunday it was off to the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium for the 105km and 45km Road events where cyclists enjoyed the sights and sounds of Durban from the comfort of their bicycles. A big thank you everyone who attended the event and we hope to see you all again next year.

This weekend The IMPI Team heads out into the agricultural heartland of South Africa for some more epic MTB trails at the Starke Ayres Greytown MTB Festival. The festival takes place on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th May 2012 and caters for riders of varying skills, with the options of a 35km ride on Saturday afternoon and a 50km and 26km ride on Sunday. In addition there will be a 10km family ride and a 3km fun ride available on both days. For more information visit www.greytownmtb.co.za
